Best Cure for Migraine : My experience with a patient # 2

Migraine is one of the worst problems that we face today. One of my patients came the other day and started complaining about some banging sensation deep inside his head. He said, “Hey Doc, I am unable to sleep and I feel very agitated when this happens and you know, when my head aches, I get strange sensations deep inside my head and at times, I feel like banging my head to the wall”. His name was Jerome Shaun. I knew that this generally happens when a person does not get good night’s sleep or is stressed.

However, in some cases it is quite possible that a person is suffering from this migraine since many years. This is a chronic migraine where a person tends to get aura and at times, blackouts.

Jerome is a typical guy who does not sleep at all and as a doctor, I understand the stress and other things besides just headache. He gets sick most of the times and cannot focus or concentrate on other things. This could be one of the reasons why he gets restless most of the times.

On the other hand, Jerome is an insomniac, who does not sleep at all. This is one of the major ailments because people who suffer from migraine should sleep for at least 8-9 hours, as per the American Psychotic Centers.

Jerome asked, “So, doc can you tell me the solution?” I said, “Well, Mr. Jerome, you need to sleep and if you cannot sleep then there are certain things that you can follow, such as”

* Do not read when you feel pain
* Avoid music
* Do not eat junk food
* Massage your scalp with coconut oil
* Go for a long drive with friends

Migraine is a common problem and can be solved if good care is taken at an appropriate time. However, it could be devastating when someone ignores.

thanks for sharing, doc! My Mom suffers from migrane and I can't see her pain especially when I can't help. I would pass to her your tips. Hope this would help, cause medicines often fail to help.
