Development of Human Affairs through Team Building and Relationships

Strong Teams and the Development of Relationships.
 
Today we hear much talk on the neccesity of team building, partnerships and development as the keys to success in human endeavours especially business but could be applied to many other human interactions ( family, group sports ..etc)

Strong teams are built through
- openess or self-relevation ( allowing one to understand the problems of team members ). This leads to respect of capability, competence and sincerity ( character )
- mutual benefit - all members of team must receive reciprocal development regardless of ability or indeed measures of performance.

Committment to a team is not easily acquired and doesn't command automatic respect. Teams members need to show
- reverence or utmost respect and long term concern for the effectiveness of team and individual team contributions
- occasional guts to strive for the unknown to show utmost concern for team well beings
- continous proof of committment(dedication ) and competence with renewed vigor and participation.

Human Development is the building strong teams which can only be through and with others all who are committed to achieving something.
Development ( Progress ) suggests improvement of something, somebody, some community or movement to towards some "better" or "required" end or goal. Development is anything that accelerates or improves or orientates or sustains an entity towards a desired outcome or goal. Development is an ongoing process and requires the idea of sustainability to be built into the core. Development is linked to communion and the buidling long-term mutually beneficial relationships (teams) - it is not done in a vacuum but in tandem with other humans. Development is the building of long-term relationships where on-going team needs are revealed by mutually beneficial participation and engagement.

How do we achieve such ? The Bible advises

Let love be genuine
Hate what is evil
Hold fast to what is good
Love one another with brotherly affection
Outdo one another in showing honour

The Pope believes that the sources of our Development are outside us and we must ask ( pray ) to God for the necessary strength, hope and joy to dedicate ourselves with Generosity to the task of Development.
Development requires people full of strength, hope and joy. The Pope believes "the what and how you give" is a God given strength and doesn't derive entirely from us. It is given to you.
