God: Don't bug him.
Thing of it is... I'm Agnostic. It means that I don't know if there's a god or not. I don't put up with pressure by Atheists or religious people to join a side. As far as I'm concerned both sides are relying on faith; one side has faith God is real and the other has faith God isn't. Neither can prove anything but that which makes them believe as they do.I went to Sunday school. As a teenager and throughout my life I've read many religious, mythological and philosophical texts; including the Bible, the Koran, Buddhist philosophy, etc.
I was talking about this with a neighbor the other day. She asked, finally what my religion is. She seemed so offended when I said I'm an Agnostic; as if it were a personal attack on her. "You're absolutely wrong!" she said. "God is real. I have faith and you can't make me believe otherwise." Whoa...
This is a common reaction from people with blockheads who don't listen. First of all, how can I be wrong if I say I don't know something? Secondly, I couldn't care less about anybody's religion, or lack thereof. I'm not trying to convert anybody to i-don't-knowness. Isn't it weird, the last thing she said to me was, "You Atheists think you know everything." Huh? Oh well, guess I won't be invited to her next barbecue. I was almost tempted to look around to see if there was a third person she was reacting too.
Anyway, I took the open minded route and decided to put in a call to God. What do know? He picked. God said, "Hey, you know, I'm kinda busy... holding the universe together and everything. So, whatever it is, just handle it."
