The art of saying Helloo-ooo
Probably you remember the lesson at EducoPark regarding saying the long gooooodbyyyyeeeee: The Power of saying good bye in everyday situationWell, before saying good bye, people usually say hello. The question is how they do it.
Last week I was developing something on my working place when the phone rang. The nice voice asked me to come to the HR-room. OK, in a few minutes I was entering the room and saying ‘Hi to Everybody!’.
How amazed I was, listening from one of the HR-girl the long Hello: “Heellooooooo!”.
The amazing part in this Hello was that she put an accent not at the first syllable like I usually did: “HEllo”, no, she put it on the last syllable: “HellO” and stretched the last ‘o’: “HellOOOOOO”. With a combination of clear and sonorous voice it made the great effect (on me :)), making me feeling that if-I’m-met-with-such-attitude-then-I-should-have-some-great-news-so-I’ll-share-them
(see also related lesson: Always meet other person with feeling that he/she has some great news).
After that I used several times to meet other people with that long “Hellooooooo” and found that it cheers up person whom I say this and, what’s surprising, cheers me as well!
P.S. OMG, I just said to my mom an old “HEllo”! OK, promise to fix this :)
