The first post at EducoPark. Setting the goals that inspire!

I remember that winter day of november 2008. I was going to job by bus and was admiring beautiful trees covered with a white snow.

It has been several months since I with partners started our business. We had a lot of job: programming, negotiations with customers, administrative work, so I was in trouble of being the most effective during the day. I wanted feel myself energized and alive for whole the day, because the times had been when I felt myself like energizer for whole day. However there were times when I felt sluggish, thinking of "when this day is over!" :).

I was told with several respected guys and tried their approaches to being energetic. However, they didn't help me too much.

Suddenly I had an idea. What if to create the portal where people could discuss such things as:

• being most effective during the day
• building relationships with other people
• influencing others etc.
  
  

In other words, the questions of personal development. These were the topics, terribly interesting for me and, as I hoped, for many other people as well. "If such portal had existed",- I thought, "I would have found on it ways of being most effective which worked for me!"

It was the moment when the dream was born, dream of creating the place where people could write down their own lessons of life and share them to others. For instance, some guy could write that eating an apple for breakfast makes him enormously effective during the day :). How many benefits such portal could bring to other people, how many lives it could change. If only one guy had arranged his relationship with girl he loves, I would have considered this portal be worthy of all labor spent to it.

With this idea in mind I spent several weeks of inventing the name of the portal, then months of development, making design etc.

Now the portal is ready. How many times I wanted to give up, when meeting next obstacle in the portal implementation. However one the thing which supported me was an idea that launching EducoPark will maybe give chance to many people change their own lives like I changed mine once. It was an idea that was warming me like candle light warms one's cold hands in a winter day.

The motto of EducoPark is "Important Lessons of Your Life". It means that each day of our life brings us some lesson. As for me, people which achieve success differ from others only by ability to recognize and learn their lessons, day by day. When day by day you learn and change your behaviour according to your lessons, you become wiser and responsible for all that happen in your life.

Personally what I've learnt during months of EducoPark development, was the following: "setting goal for the sake of other people is much supporting for myself than setting the goal for the sake of myself" (like money, glory etc.). The benefits of money or appreciation quickly fall down. However, the real help to other people supports me much longer than personal benefits.

It was my lesson, my important lesson of life.
