The power of gratitude

There are many secrets of happiness, many of which you probably know: be positive, have a strong health, love someone… Over time I
feel myself more and more happy just thanking for everything that happens.

Usually, when I awake at the mornings, I do some morning exercises and, at the same time, I spell out all moments of Yesterday, I’m thankful for. Today I could remember the following:
  • I thankful to Marina with whom I walked along the Dnieper river side
  • I thankful for evening call of mom and for talk with dad
  • I thankful to wine shop salesman who told me a lot about wine
  • I thankful to grandma who came out to accept the round loaf
  • I thankful for I have the car, I can drive
  • I thankful for the beautiful warm and sunny spring weather

When I spell out these moments, I feel like I already have everything, I can dream about. At the same time I enter into some miraculous “Everything is good” state when I happy with just what I have. If you want, you are welcome to experience this by yourself…

Finally, I’m grateful I can share this life lesson at EducoPark.

I am thankful to find the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

I am thankful for the parents I had, that gave me strong ROOTS as a foundation, and WINGS... knowing one day, I would have to FLY 'solo'.
I am thankful for my Son, who gives me Unconditional Love... and allows me to see life through eyes of hope and wonder...untainted and pure.
I am thankful for those that have been my 'teachers' in life... whether the lessons were bitter, or sweet....came easy, or difficult... raised "awareness"...or broke my heart...I thank you.

Evetually, we and/or our loved ones will all be faced with possible life/death issues. Hopefully, the end results are on the life end. With this said, I am thankful that I am alive today.

I am grateful for the opportunities I have every day to be a better person. I am grateful for my loving and supportive family and friends. I am grateful that for my "work" I am blessed to be able to provide people with a tool they can use to help them to be mindful of the present moment and to remember to pause for what is truly important to them in their lives - "I've been meaning to pause... and there is meaning to this pause that I am taking" Thank you God for the many blessings in my life! I am thankful for EducoPark :)
